Putin says West trying to cancel Russian culture like it ‘cancelled’ J.K. Rowling

President Vladimir Putin said in a televised briefing on Friday the West was trying to cancel Russian culture, referring to the cancellation of events involving Russian artists in some Western countries in the past several weeks. He went on to lament over the author of the Harry Potter books, J.K. Rowling, who he says was a victim of Western “cancellation culture.”
