Speaking in front of the European Union (EU) Parliament on Wednesday, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau touted the resilience of democracy. Trudeau accused Russian President Vladimir Putin of trying to weaken NATO and the EU, but that “democracy at its best will always be stronger than authoritarianism.”
