The ability to adapt to changing climates and changing habitats can contribute
to the survival of a species. To that end, Trent University scientists are currently leading
the way in the research of caribou found in Ontario.
There are 12 designated units of caribou across Canada, 11 of them have been placed
in federal at-risk categories, and the remaining group is already extinct.
What does this mean for the caribou of Canada, and even more the ones who live in Ontario?
Host Teresa Kaszuba spoke with Paul Wilson, Professor of Conservation Genomics at Trent University.
