Ten years ago, thousands of students were part of protests that were later dubbed Quebec’s maple spring. Students across the province had voted to strike and protest a planned tuition hike that erupted into a student uprising. As Global’s Felicia Parrillo reports, on Tuesday thousands of students are expected to strike for free tuition while commemorating the demonstrations that took place one decade ago.
