Premier John Horgan said at Friday’s press briefing the government does not know when refugees from Ukraine will start arriving in British Columbia or how many will want to resettle. Because of Canada’s historic waves of Ukrainian settlement dating back to the 1800s, it could be a desirable place to come but many challenges lay ahead, particularly housing.
