An intensive, multi-year study is shedding new light on the extent contact sports can affect young brains. A study conducted by researchers in the U.S., Simon Fraser University and at Surrey’s Healthtech Connex — measured the cognitive brain functions of youth football players who were not diagnosed with a concussion during the season.
