White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki criticized Florida’s surgeon general, Joseph Ladapo, for his recommendation against giving the COVID-19 vaccine to children five and older, saying it was “absolutely not” a good policy. She said the White House was following the science and said data has shown unvaccinated teens are “three times as likely to be hospitalized” if they get COVID-19 than vaccinated teenagers.
