Speaking at the United Nations Human Rights Council on Tuesday, U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken said that the Kremlin must respect the human rights of Russians, as he expressed his strong disapproval for Russia’s human rights abuses as they invade Ukraine. Blinken said this includes allowing citizens to peacefully protest against their government, allowing for a free press and being honest with the families of the soldiers.
