The European Union took a historic step on Sunday, announcing it would finance the purchase and delivery of weapons and other equipment to Ukraine. In addition, Germany ended its post-Second World War pacifist policy, saying it also would send weapons. As Redmond Shannon reports, not only is Europe providing aid, it’s adding more sanctions against Russia.
