White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki said Friday that following a call with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, President Joe Biden and his administration determined it would issue sanctions against Russian President Vladimir Putin, Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and members of the Russian national security team.
