Foreign Affairs Minister Mélanie Joly said Thursday that Canada was cancelling hundreds of export permits to Russia worth more than $700 million dollars. The move is part of a new package of severe sanctions launched in the wake of Russian President Vladimir Putin’s decision to order a large-scale military attack on Ukraine.
