Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced on Tuesday that he authorized the deployment of up to 460 troops into Eastern Europe as part of Operation Reassurance, per NATO’s request. He added that Canada has pledged significant aircraft, medical, naval and land capabilities to aid NATO’s response force.
