Chief Public Health Officer Dr. Theresa Tam said on Thursday that National Advisory Council on Immunizations (NACI) continues to recommend mRNA vaccines to most people due to their excellent protection and well-established safety profiles. However, it now recommends Novavax for people unable or unwilling to receive mRNA vaccines.
