Trucker protests: Ottawa police waiting on ‘official details’ about Emergencies Act enforcement before acting: deputy chief

Ottawa Deputy Chief Trish Ferguson told members of the police services board Tuesday that while the department welcomes the federal government’s enactment of the Emergencies Act, they are waiting for “official details” before enforcing it. She said details must be “fully understood” before acting on it.
