Nancy Claro is known as the “cake lady” in the junction triangle, a pastry chef whose passion for baking started when she was four years old making chocolate cakes for her cousins. Yet for many years, Claro followed a different path before deciding to follow her hear opening her bakery in the middle of the pandemic. Susan Hay has the story.
