Federal NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh blasted the federal government on Monday over its handling of anti-COVID-19 mandate protests in Ottawa and at the U.S.-Canada borders, saying people around the world are looking at Canada as a country that “can’t control its borders, can’t control its capital city. It hurts our country.” Singh also blasted Ontario Premier Doug Ford saying he’s “more interested in his election prospects in June than in making decisions that are in the best interest of people.”
