Trucker protests: Ottawa police say they need 1,800 officers to stabilize situation

Ottawa Police Deputy Chief Steve Bell said on Tuesday that police continue to face resources issues while dealing with the ongoing anti- mandate protests and have identified the need for 1,800 officers and civilian personnel to end the situation peacefully. This comes after officers were swarmed by protesters on Monday.
