Ottawa Police Deputy Chief Steve Bell said on Tuesday that police continue to face resources issues while dealing with the ongoing anti- mandate protests and have identified the need for 1,800 officers and civilian personnel to end the situation peacefully. This comes after officers were swarmed by protesters on Monday.
