Speaking to the media on Monday, Ottawa police chief Peter Sloly pleaded with all levels of government for additional resources to deal with the ongoing protest in the nation’s capital. Stoly said the stories from city residents were “heartbreaking” and said his officers are at their breaking point after days of continuous operations.
