Speaking to the media on Monday, Ottawa police chief Peter Sloly said that in the negotiations with the so-called “Freedom Convoy” organizers in the days leading up to the protest, protest organizers told them they planned to complete the demonstration at the end of the weekend. The protests are now well into their 2nd week.
