In response to being asked Thursday whether his government was considering deploying the Canadian military to intervene with the ongoing trucker protests in Ottawa, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said “one has to be “very, very cautious” when considering such an option. He added that there has been no requests and that it isn’t “in the cards right now.”
