During Tuesday’s session of question period, NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh asked what the federal government is going to do about the trucker blockade in southern Alberta by the U.S. border, as the Coutts anti-vaccine mandate protest enters its fourth day. Singh said he spoke to truckers who are stuck without adequate food and water supplies, or washroom facilities. Transport Minister Omar Alghabra responded with a plea for the blockade to dissipate and allow these people to go home.
