Lawyers for Joe Maldonado-Passage, also known as “Joe Exotic,” who was made famous by the Netflix series “Tiger King,” said Friday that a federal judge re-sentenced their client to 21 years in federal prison. Maldonado-Passage was sentenced to 22 years in January 2020 for trying to hire two men to kill Carol Baskin, who runs the animal sanctuary “Big Cat Rescue.”
