Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskiy spoke Friday about his call a day prior with U.S. President Joe Biden, in which reports said Biden warned an imminent invasion was a possibility. Zelenskiy said that while the threat from Russia is “constant” and “imminent,” it has been there since 2014. He stressed they don’t see a bigger escalation than has been seen before and there was no need for panic.
