COVID-19: Dr. Moore comments on doctor banned from prescribing ivermectin

Ontario’s chief medical officer of health Dr. Kieran Moore on Thursday commented on a Global News report that a doctor in the province who was prohibited from prescribing ivermectin, an unapproved antiparasitic treatment for COVID-19, was now a director of a company offering the drug. He said he would hope the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario would recognize if the Ontario Science Table is recommending against using ivermectin, the telehealth service would be reviewed. Though he advised consulting the college themselves for more information.
