Dr. Anthony Fauci, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, said during a White House COVID-19 briefing on Wednesday that that there will be a time that the U.S. can live with COVID-19. “We believe we can get there because we have the tools with vaccines, with boosts, with masks, with tests, and with anti-virals,” Fauci said, adding “but that is not where we are at this point.”
