Lawyers representing Doug McCallum appeared for the first time as the mayor of Surrey was called to answer to a charge of public mischief. It relates to an incident in September when McCallum claimed he was hit by a car driven by someone collecting signatures to force a vote on keeping the RCMP in Surrey. Catherine Urquhart reports.
