Moe says COVID-19 vaccine mandate on truckers coming into Canada ‘unnecessary’

Saskatchewan Premier Scott Moe criticized the federal government’s COVID-19 vaccine mandate on truck drivers coming into Canada, calling it “unnecessary.” He said that the trucking industry is an essential service and even before vaccines were available, they operated safely throughout the pandemic and the federal policy could significantly impact goods and services.
