On January 22, 1992 Dr. Roberta Bondar became the first Canadian female astronaut in space-and that’s just one of her many accomplishments. That milestone will be celebrated tomorrow during the virtual event, “An Evening with Dr. Roberta Bondar and Friends.” Dr. Bondar spoke with Global News Morning Peterborough anchor Noor Ibrahim about the evening, her career, the Roberta Bondar Foundation and what’s ahead.
