Ontario COVID-19 hospitalizations, ICU cases increasing at slower pace, Moore says

Ontario’s chief medical officer of health Dr. Kieran Moore said on Wednesday that the rate of COVID-19 hospitalizations and cases in intensive care units are increasing at a slower pace. The average length of stay in hospital for COVID-19 patients is now five days with the Omicron variant, compared to nine days with the Delta variant, he stated.
