Canada to invest $35M over 3 years to expand resettlement capacity for newcomers

Canada’s Immigration Minister Sean Fraser announced Monday that the federal government would invest $35 million over three years to expand resettlement capacity, including $21 million for the Resettlement Assistance Program and $14 million for case management services to provide assistance to vulnerable newcomers.
