Conservative MP concerned over health agency’s use of cellphone location data

Conservative MP John Brassard expressed concern on Thursday over the Public Health Agency of Canada’s use of cellphone location data to measure the effectiveness of COVID-19 public health measures. “We need to know what security measures were in place to protect the privacy rights of Canadians,” he stated.
