Manitoba’s deputy chief provincial public health officer Dr. Jazz Atwal said on Wednesday that it is “highly likely” most Manitobans will be exposed to the Omicron COVID-19 variant in the coming weeks. “The sheer number of cases still has the potential to overwhelm our healthcare system,” he stated.
