Ontario’s chief medical officer of health Dr. Kieran Moore responded to questioning about Quebec’s new health tax for unvaccinated people, saying it “seems punitive.” He said only in the highest-risk settings has Ontario mandated vaccines and that “putting a penalty on those that have not been vaccinated has not been entertained.”
