White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki said on Monday that U.S. President Joe Biden has spoken with New York City Mayor Eric Adams to offer condolences after a Bronx apartment fire on Sunday killed 17 people. Psaki said she was not aware of any federal assistance requests from New York City.
