‘Rules are rules;’ Australian PM says Djokovic failed to provide proof of medical exemption

Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison said Novak Djokovic was denied entry into the country to play in the Australian Open tournament after his visa was cancelled. The tennis star failed to provide proof of a medical exemption and was not double vaccinated against COVID-19. “Rules are rules,” the Australian leader said.
