On Tuesday, 5,043 people tested positive for COVID-19 marking a single-day infection record for Quebec. The majority of those people have been doubly vaccinated. With long lineups outside testing centres and hospitalizations on the rise, some medical experts are calling on the government to add stricter restrictions ahead of Christmas.
