Health Minister Jean-Yves Duclos announced on Friday that the government of Canada was reintroducing the requirement for a negative PCR pre-arrival test for all travellers, including those who were leaving for less than 72 hours starting Dec. 21. He also announced the travel ban on 10 African countries was being lifted as of Saturday night.
