Sebastien Simon, who pleaded guilty to the first-degree murder of Brigitte Serre, had argued the ‘faint hope clause’ in court, in an attempt to secure early release from prison. Earlier this week, Serre’s family found out that Simon’s request has been denied. Global’s Dan Spector has the details.
