COVID-19: Omicron variant cases expected to increase in Manitoba, Dr. Roussin says

Manitoba’s chief public health officer Dr. Brent Roussin said on Wednesday that while the Omicron COVID-19 variant isn’t currently a large problem in Manitoba, it is expected to take over as the dominant strain in the coming weeks. Manitoba has six confirmed cases of the variant.
