Health Minister Jean-Yves Duclos responded on Thursday to the Auditor General’s report that the federal government failed to confirm whether 75 per cent of travellers who were required to hotel-quarantine obeyed that rule or not. Duclos said progress is still being made to improve the system and that officials have made more than 7-million compliance verification calls and over 500,000 visits for returning travellers to confirm they’re quarantined at home.
