Canada appointing interlocutor to ‘further advance justice on residential schools’

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau spoke at the Special Chiefs Assembly of First Nations on Thursday, where he assured Indigenous communities that he’s listening to their needs for reconciliation, and added the government is appointing a “special” interlocutor to “further advance justice on residential schools.”
