Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson Wang Wenbin said Thursday that the diplomatic boycott announced this week by Canada, the U.S., the U.K and Australia of the Beijing Olympics was a “farce.” He said the countries would pay a price for their “mistaken acts” and once again called on countries to stop politicizing sports.
