The first snowfall of the season all hit parts of Vancouver Island. BC Hydro reports, at the peak of the storm, around 9,000 people lost power. Crews are still working to restore power to customers, but they may not be able to help everyone by tonight. As Kylie Stanton reports, heavier snow accumulations were seen at higher elevations and in the northern parts of the island.
