‘Relations with China are a mess,’ O’Toole says after Ambassador resigns

Official Opposition Leader Erin O’Toole said on Monday that Canadian relations with China are a “mess” after Ambassador Dominic Barton resigned from his post. He thanked Barton for his service and hoped Trudeau will put an experienced diplomat in his position and not a “friend” to the Liberal party.
