Today (Dec. 3) marks the U.N.’s International Day for Persons with Disabilities, and while events are taking place around the world to mark the day, advocates say there’s still much more work to be done to make Peterborough more inclusive and accessible. Leslie Yee, vice chair of the Peterborough Council for Persons with Disabilities, talked with Global News Morning Peterborough host Teresa Kaszuba about some of the challenges the council is still grappling with.
