Canada’s road to Truth and Reconciliation will soon run through the Vatican, where the pope will hear first-hand accounts from residential school survivors. In two weeks, a delegation of mostly Indigenous leaders will travel to Rome with the ultimate goal of hearing a long-sought-after apology. Dan Grummett has more.
