Ontario’s chief medical officer of health Dr. Kieran Moore said on Monday that while he could not give out identifiable information, the two people with cases of the Omicron COVID-19 variant reported in Ottawa had first flown to Montreal and were tested there. He added they were investigating other cases, but no new Omicron cases had been reported so far.
