Canada has detected its first two cases of the Omicron COVID-19 variant in Ontario. A statement from Ontario’s Ministry of Health on Sunday confirmed that cases of the variant were identified in Ottawa, which were reported in individuals with recent travel from Nigeria. Mike Le Couteur has more.
