Abbotsford Mayor Henry Braun said on Sunday that he was confident the city was ready for upcoming weather events, after he announced that water overflowing from the Nooksack River was expected to reach Abbotsford later in the day. “We have done what we can do and we ready, as ready as we can be, for the event that is about to unfold,” he told reporters.
