Calls for B.C.’s top doctor to address new Omicron variant concerns

More countries have identified confirmed cases of the new COVID-19 variant known as Omicron that are believed to be linked to travel to southern Africa. Canada’s top doctor says it could only be a matter of time before we see cases and as Kristen Robinson reports, there are calls for our province to hold a weekend public health briefing.
